In the V/G dialog, use the Design Options tab to control the visibility of each DO. Start by creating your primary, base bid views. Now, visibility - you will need to create separate views for each alternate bid possiblity. Each secondary/tertiary option should contain the objects that will be included in the project only if the alt bid(s) are accepted by the owner.
The primary should always be your base bid condition - place objects that will be installed if no alt bids are accepted on these.
Second, setting up the DO's themselves - each Design Option can contain multiple Option Sets.
If it's added/removed/changed by an alt bid, it needs to be in a design option. Ah yes, the Add Alt Design Option conundrum.įirst, the only items in your main model should be ones that will not be changed by the acceptance/rejection of any alternate bid.
